Lisa
A Maplewood member since 1994, Lisa has worked with the youth in some capacity since that time. After a year of teaching 5th and 6th grade girls bible school on Wednesday nights, she and her husband Joe became volunteer youth leaders with the junior high youth group. In 1998, Lisa became the Education Assistant, working with the coordination of pre-school through high school programs, and eventually her work became youth focused as the Youth Program Coordinator. As part of her responsibilities, Lisa teaches the junior high/senior high Sunday School class.
She continues to volunteer with the junior high youth group on a weekly basis, and through the years has been active in other Maplewood endeavors such as the Vision Team, J.O.Y. circle, Pastoral Search Committee, Friends of the Heart, and Kids Hope prayer partners. Lisa and Joe have five kids; Tyler, Troy, Tate, Teagan, and Tanna. They live in the Hamilton School District, and spend a lot of time in the bleachers enjoying their children's activities. Prior to Maplewood, Lisa was youth volunteer at Beechwood Reformed Church, and with the Protestant Youth of the Chapel at Spangdahlem Air Force Base. One of her favorite summers ever was spent as one of two "barnstore babes" at Cran-Hill Ranch.
