Pastor Jason began working at Maplewood as an Intern in the Summer of 2007 and continued on during the fall and winter of 2007 and 2008 as a Ministry Assistant while he finished his final year at seminary. He graduated from Western Theological Seminary in Holland in May of 2008 and accepted a call to Maplewood in the same month. He was ordained in June and offically started as the Pastor of Outreach and Discipleship at that time.
Jason's wife, Karin, works at Holland Hospital and their two children, Jacob and Megan attend Holland Public Schools. They moved to Holland in 2005 just down the street from the church and began to attend after coming to a Block Party in August of that year.
Jason is a fun, approachable guy who enjoys a good prank and a good time. He keeps everyone on their toes around Maplewood!
