Rev. Aaron VanDerVeen
Aaron has served our church as our contracted preaching pastor for 1 1/2 years and then was called to take on the lead pastor role in June of 2011. He has a deep love and devotion to his wife, Kendra, and their two children Samuel and Isabella. Aaron's life is all about Jesus Christ and the life offered through Him. He has served the Lord through just about every role in the church whether in internships, as a youth and education director, as a speaker and worship leader, or as an associate pastor, and now as a lead pastor. He even spent a few years as a certified golf professional working as a chaplain. Needless to say he has followed God wherever God has called. His hope is that we would all know the love and life of Christ so deeply that we cannot help but reflect that in and through every aspect of our lives.
On a lighter note, some of the other things Aaron really enjoys are spending time with Kendra and the kids, golfing and teaching others the game, reading and learning, and being on or by the water whether it is on a boat, on skis or going somewhere that has something to do with water.
